The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done. George Carlin.

Hey 86LX. Got a question for you. How much do you think a stock rebuild on a '86 HO would cost in this part of Georgia? If you were getting your 5.0 rebuilt, who would you go with?

The gaskets are the TFS master kit, the head gaskets are the Fel Pro Blue Stripe. And the ProChamber works fine, it's almost like an X pipe although the chamber acts almost like a muffler rather than making it raspy. That's the main reason it has the tone it does.

Sounds like a darn nice LX. I have an '86 notch I bought last December: 5.0, Ram clutch, flowmasters. I'm on a budget. Any advice for a speed density, stock motored 5.0 (other than get a new motor?)?

Nope, that's my car, and the 3 fillies that agreed to pose for me last August. And the yellow one with 3 around it was a friend of mine on another site, I have no idea if it really cost him though... mine were free...
