jegs has the regulators priced around $28.00, but i recommend a inline fuelpressure gauge from autozone around $18.00 makes tuning a snap.
the HEI dist gave me alot more power over the old duraspark2.

just go buy a holley BLUE fuel pump it comes with regulator. Hook the fuel pump near the tank and mount the regulator under the hood(away from heat). Also buy a inline fuel pressure gauge mount it after the regulator and the carb. set the fuel pressure to 5.5or6psi(Eledbrock recommend)anymore will flood the floats. I PROMISE you... your 1405 will be very responsive!!! It will also get rid of that bog you feel... gagin at 55mph and the over loading idles. A big PLUS on relibility and racing from the dig(from da jump). I get side ways(hittin it about 30 and breaking traction) very quick! By the way it just a 88gt E7 block punched .30 w/forged flattops(speedpro),ported E7 heads,F303 cam,crane cams1.7 roller rockers(lift is around .540),HEI dist(gotta love that 1wire hookup),RPM intake,and 1405carb. The car is a 84gt w/C6 trans,2800stall,and 3.73 out back. Soon it will have a T5!!!

nice stang! how much power did you get out of those RPM heads?
i have the same intake and carb(1405 with a holley regulator set a 5 1/2 psi)the throttle is pretty responsive!!!!
