About Me
I am just starting on a new project 1987 GT. Needs paint and body work and some TLC on the interior. I know basic car mechanics but I am always eager to try as long as I have some guidence.
Mustang Rides
I have owned 3 mustangs, 1989 5.0 LX AOD, 1987 GT and a 2002 V6, my family has owned a 1965 289, 1969 CJ 428 Drag Pac, 1980 Turbo and a 1990 5.0 LX.
Current ride is a 1987 5sp GT. Needs a paint job and a new pass quarter panel. Wish I had someone close by that is willing to let me assist in the work. So far the only mods are exhaust related-BBK Off road pipe, flowmasters. Other work involves the interior, 94 GT leather seats, new switches and bezels, weatherstripping, short throw shifter with steeda handle and knob, new guage cluster lens. In the near future, Cobra bumber and reinforcement, rear quarter panel, paint and body work ( either 350 Z Silver/Grey lower or Sonic Blue/ Grey lower, all new outside trim and quarter glass, and new carpet.. Later I plan on replacing the old radiator, adding CAI, then maybe look at the intake and headers and WAY down the road pulling teh motor and painting the engine area.
