As far as I know, Tuomas DOES wear eyeliner and mascara but it doesn't detract from his manly side. You can really hear the difference between European music and American, and how watered down American music is now. I'm not all hardcore and stuff but I prefer things that are played how they're actually meant to be heard. I can only hope they come within driving distance of me.

Is this a srtange way to carry on a conversation? Yup, we really caught a break with them coming here. I can't imagine why they would do that, since they would almost certainly be losing money doing it. Tickets were only 23 bucks. Plus, there's the weather shock thing. Tuomas, Emppu and Jukka all grew up in Kitee, Finland. Tommorow ( monday) the low in Kitee will be about 38 (4C)and the high will be about 48 ( 9C) This is their version of the dog days of summer. Here it will bust a hundred a couple of times before we get hammered by a hurricane, then shoot back up to around hundred, along with about 90% humidity because of all of the rainfall just in time for their arrival. But, this will give me a chance to see if Tuomas really does have those gorgeous, gorgeous eyes or if he ( please tell me he doesn't ) wears eye liner and mascara. But, as far as the music goes, I think that Ghost Love Score is one of the most beautiful things that I have ever heard in my life. The first time that I heard it, I just sat there for what had to be a good thirty seconds, stunned and amazed.

You really like Nightwish? COOL. They have a lot of power and now I'm thoroughly jealous, they're coming close to you. I can't stand US music right now, it's too cookie cutter and pop-esque for me. The ones you mentioned are the ones I have too, Wishmaster and the DVD. I got Once, Century Child, Angels Fall First, Dark Passion Play, all from Limewire and burned them to CD.

Hi Denne. I just wanted to thank you. I had never heard of Nightwish before you posted that youtube thing a while back. I went out and bought A Dark Passion Play and loved it. I then bought Wishmaster and loved it even more, so then I bought Once and the DVD End Of an Era, and Geez!! As luck would have it, they will be playing here in Houston on the 19 of Sept, and, since nobody ever heard of them here, they will playing in this tiny little place by their standards, which only holds about 900 people when it's packed. It's kind of a bar/ event location, like for wedding receptions and such. They should be the bar band from hell. Real up-close and personal. So, again, thank you, and you can consider yourself thoroughly hugged.
