Hi, I'm Greg in N.C. and I just bought a 1965 Pony car and the driveshaft was out of it when I bought it.The driveshaft I have has 67 wrote on it and I dont know if it's a 67 driveshaft or the correct one for the car. I sent the driveshaft with a friend to replace the u-joints and was wondering if it is a 67 driveshaft and not the correct 65 one, will it work on the 65? I haven't had the u-joints replaced yet and was going to make sure that it will work. I did not test fit it before I sent it with him because it was wrapped up in plastic. It is a correct 289,auto in the floor car and was original Poppy Red when new.I was just curious about if the two will interchange if it is in fact a 67 driveshaft. I'm normally a pre 1967 V.W. guy, but couldn't pass up what I've always wanted, a real piece of American history.I know to the true Vintage Mustang freak, this sounds like a stupid question, but the only stupid question, is the one you never ask. Thanks, and hope to hear from someone soon on this.Greg Hord
