51 one single dad just moved from LA to Washington State after a 21 year departure. Am wanting to carrer change from work to something I love. I have been exposed to allot of skills needed for car restoration. I have worked on cars since I was 10. I pulled, repaired and reinstalled my first motor at 13. I have 5 brothers who along with my dad were all in the pipe fitters trades. I , as well as 3 of my brothers are X-RAY quality welders. I weld all methods from stick to tig, Mild steel, stainless, Titanium, cast iron. I am a Journeyman in 3 trades. Iron worker, Millwright and Carpenter. I worked in the field for 10 years and went into Construction management in 1986 and worked until 2005 as VP of Asset management for the world largest RE Company. Bought my 65 fastback in 2005 and have been in restoration until problems occurred after being a victim of predatory Home loan practices. I lost y home but have filed suit against the entity's responsible.My car was in process when The bank locked the house, and nmy car was taken as well as the contents of my garage. @5 years of hand and power tools, 27k in hard cost for the car and it's resto-mods. It is unreal but all true. If anyone knows of a in process 65 fastback in the west LA area with a Heidt's front IFS and rack and pinion, and all new interior parts , all parts were in the car and readsy to be moved. When I arrived on the day to remove the garage was locked with a note. By the time I tracked down the representative to inquire about the issue The car was removed. Any knowledge of this incident will be absolutely confidential . Your help is needed. ALl YOU CAR FOLKS IN THE KNOW AROUND SO CAL PLEASE KEEP YOUR EARS TO THE GROUND. I am a guy who over the last 3 years lost my marriage, my home, and the one thing I dreamed of since I was 13, was stolen. I had spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on my project car with only the work not done by me was the engine machine work.
