Mustang Rides: Me and my girlfriend got a 1981 mustang off her ex and its in horrible condition it's a little 4 banger, and i have never found so many loose bolts on one car... ive been doing some work to it i put on the rear shocks a cpl days ago... the muffler that was on it was blown out so i replaced it with a thrush magnum 2" glasspack... and i took out the air conditioning and am looking for and electric fan to replace the stock belt driven fan... im gonna build up the 4 banger cuz if i dropped a 302 in it my g/f would wrap it around a tree or something so im just gonna build the 4 and see what i can do with it... its got a c3 transmission and i hate it... the guy who had it b4 said it was a brand new transmission and rear but the bushings on the rear are shot... the shocks were shot.... the differential cover is leaking... and the transmission sticks and leaks... the valve cover gasket was non existant so i put one on and the rear main seal is leaking pretty bad... so ive got a whole lot of work to do but with time it'll be a bad little car
