I saw and knew i had to buy this car in 1980. This poor old 78 fastback has been tried and found guilty of being the most fun car i have ever owned! i nearly floated it in KY Lake one night, used it for front row seats at many outings by sitting on the targa bar with legs dangling into the car seat, it has been clocked by the KSP at 106+ (i never saw the trooper) my wife calls the car "christine" but will admit that it is really fun to drive. after locating an exact donor match car and a 2 year "redo" it is now nearly all stock again with the exception of the cj hood scoop with turn indicator lights (which i personally like) now it will be a sunday driver until my son (8) gets his license....i hope he makes as many good memories as i did...
