Been using the sight for some time to answer some of my questions, finally had to register to post a question(glad i did). I have a 95 gt bought it 96 all stock except for the 3.73's in the rear end, that i had the dealer ship take out and put the stock ones back in. It had the racing stripes on it when i bought it, the main reason i did buy it. Wasn't planning on racing it until everyone started coming up beside me and started messing with me. So i got my first credit card with a 5000 dollar limit and went to my local race shop and maxed it out in less than a hour. Started with the drag launch kit, sub-frame connectors, mega byte jr's, 90/10 struts and put the 3.73's back in. Got to know the guys at the garage and said i should go to the local track( 1/8 mile) with them. So then i got some old steel rims and bought some et streets. Had fun, raced in the street class but they wouldn't even let you do burn outs in the class. So then i got another credit card with a 5000 limit bought the blower, msd ignition and put it on. Went to the local fair to watch a friend pull his truck(who won) and did some drinking, witch i probably shouldn't have. But on the drive home a bike pulled up beside me on the highway and wanted to run them. Knowing i wouldn't have a chance i did anyway, stayed on his tail the whole time untill i let off and the head gasket went. Limped it to the garage. So i decided to put another motor in, bought 3 stage ported heads and intake, custom cam, headers, h-pipe had the block o-grooved. Thought i was ready to race then a car runs a stop sighn and hits me. In a weird way was a good thing, he bent the rear end housing so it had to be replaced. The dealership sent a new housing to the race garage i have my car stuff done. So i had hardened axles, pro aubern,4.10 gears and 3 inch studs put in. Worked out pretty good even though my car was wrecked. So then i had to buy some slicks so i could finally do some burn outs and a new set of Weld pro stars, 6 so i would match when i raced. Well thats a little bit about the history of my car, glad to be on here finally.
