About Me: I've been a motorhead since I was about 13, always liked taking stuff apart. I started on my bicycles when I was a kid.
I bought my first mustang when I was 16 - a 1969 Mach 1, 351W, can you say rusty? Not a nice car, but I made a hotrod out of it anyway. Lucked up and found a 1970 convertible in 1987 for $3500 and it was a very solid car. I loved it, but I was trying to drive it everyday and restore it a little at a time. Problem was, I didn't have much money to work with at the time. I sold just after I started dating my wife in 1991.
Fast forward to last year (2007) around Valentines Day when I found my '66. Not my dreamcar by any means, but a good car. In between all that I tried a couple of bikes, a boat, a small business, and watched several of my friends get back into the old car thing. I just couldn't stand it anymore. Besides, what wife would want anything more than to see her husband happy on Valentine's Day? Dang! I'm a good husband. Always thinking of her!
