    My Dream Mustang
I'm happy with the 3 I got but would love a REAL Shelby.
    About Me
I have loved and owned Mustangs for a very long time. My 1st Project was 2 74 Mach 1s that I pieced back together into 1 starting in 1993. (One Mach 1 was a 2.3 I4!!) I got it running but something was wrong to not work correctly and my inexperience paired with the lack of knowledgeable II Enthusiasts available to me made me have to scrap it. However my 2nd car was a 74 Plain Jane Ford Red with White and Black Interior V6 Coupe. Great car until it died on me and I had to as well scrap it. I got my 3rd Stang (or 4th depending how you wanna look at it) soon after losing my Red 74. It was (And still is) my 78 White Mach 1. I love that car it's Really fun to drive (The most fun of all the ones I own). Sadly the tranny started to lose gears and when Reverse went finding a new tranny for 75-78 V8s at that time was really hard to come by (too many Fox Body Owners stealing them and the Lock Rears) and the Internet was not in a position to offer much help at the time. I had to put it in storage and went on to my next Stang project, a 66 Plain Jane V8 Coupe I found for $500 at a local Wrecking Yard. I Dropped a 302 and 3 Speed Manual in and away I went. I did some minor Restoration to it but Come Mid 2005 with the Inheritance of my Late Wife's 66 Emberglo Coupe and low money I decided that of the 2 66s the one to keep was the Emberglo so I sold the other one. I eventually got back on my feet and now have the Emberglo about a 85% complete on the Restoration. Last month (October 2008) I decided that I needed an Economical Daily Driver that my Fiance and I can both drive and take my (soon to be) Step-Daughter with. I decided I wanted another Mustang and I stumbled across a wrecked, but drivable, 98 V6 Coupe and have been in the process of repairing it as well as trying to load it with about as many Factory options as I can. I think that will be the Mustang Stable for me for a long time to come.
