About Me
Curently and Observer Controller at Ft Iwin, Ca (NTC)
I grew up 30 min outside of Green Bay, Wi. My family still lives there. I joined the Army my junior year in high school and then active duty in 1993. Ive been to Germany (twice),Texas,Colorado,Korea,Bosnia,Oklahoma,
and Iraq 3 times. I'm married to an awesome women(prior Army 6yrs) who supports and enjoys the mustang hobby just as much if not more than me. We pretty much, when I am home BBQ ond drink Coors light on the weekends, watch NASCAR, and football together. I have been told women like her are hard to find...;o) guess I lucked out.
The story of the Mustang hobby for me is sorta like this, growing up in Wi, there was always a car show/swap meet every weekend. My dad usually took me. Growing up my dad had several Fords, ranging from Model T's to T-Birds and everything in between. Since then he has had to sell mostly everything (he owned a gas station enough said) But the one thing that remains a constant he still has his Mustangs. However he is a purist. As for me though, 1st car 89 Tbird totalled the front end chasing down an ex girllfriends new boyfriend.. Then came the 84 2.3 Mustang my dad let me use. While i worked at the gas station I had the oppurtunity to drive back to the owners house his Police Intercepter one day after changing his oil. I was forever changed I guess, a premonition perhaps. In 2001 I bought my 91 5.0 learned some lessons and sold it. Went 29 days w/o a mustangs and bought my 2000 off of a dodge dealer in Colorado Springs with 10,000 miles. Thats when I learned of ColoradoStangs.com. In 2005 I purchased another 91 5.0 Yet again, another lesson learned. But I was able to sell that car in the dark to a passerby near my house. lol Fast foward, get re married, buy house, and yet another Mustang. Our white 93 which was a purchase off ebay sight unseen. The guy was so impressed with my wife asking about it (i was in Iraq) that he sold it to her and it arrived 1 week later. After being really relliable, its getting treated to a forged 347 and other goodies. It deserved better than a 120K mile 302.

My wife will never let me sell this car, in part cause its the one that she first met me in at a McDonalds parking lot and of its color. She has forgone her purchase of an 03-04 Cobra to build on this one. Ultimately, forged and blown. With more power at a fraction of the cost of a Cobra. BUt you can only do one project at a time.......

Most all the prep work was done by my wife while I was deployed to Iraq and my engine builder. Ebay was a great asset for me to buy parts and send them to the house.
I just saw your white 93' and I was wondering if you could tell me what strut bar you have on there? I had to remove mine because it wouldnt clear the intake mani., yours looks like it would work for me. Thanks.
