    Originally I was going to get a used 2003 VW Jetta 1.8T. It was a nice car, looked cool, had some 18 inch MOMO's and had some nice pick up with its little turbo!

    And then oil sludge happened.

    So, I think a piston/rod overheated and broke. My dad was pissed and we decided to take the new car route.

    From the start, my mom brought up a Mustang, but my reaction was: "No way, those are way too expensive!" and "The backseat is way too small!". So I looked at the Civic SI, the Corolla S, and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, all 2008's.

    Then I came across the Ford AWD V6 Fusion, and was impressed! My dad and I went to a Ford dealership and test drove one, and DAMN! It was quick!

    Then, the employee we were with mentioned they had a 2008 Dark Candy Apple Red Mustang GT Coupe Premium with an $8000 rebate. And at that point, I had a revelation... I don't care about the passengers in the back!!!

    And we test drove it.


    I was sold. Civics and Corollas seemed like those little PowerTikes electric kiddie cars that top out at 5 mph.

    And thats how I got my Mustang GT.
