dude it's starting: just sent my first college applicaiton...

tommorow is the day indeed. I parted ways with Laura today at noon to get her oil changed. And i am leaving her there overnight so they can get the scoop installed first thing in the morning tommorow. I am so excited that i will have it time for work tommorow and more important, for the weekend to show it off

The dealer quoted my approx $160 for the install. And to buy it, total price was $279

What exhaust setup are you running right now?

dude, im really thinking about you exhaust, but I think it might be really loud for my car. Ive run my car without any exhaust tips before, and at 1400rpms, I could here my exhaust echoing about a mile away, It was a little obnoxious!
I was just wondering what you were looking to get for them, cause I think it would be fun to switch them out every now and then... plus I might wanna contribute to that Blower pool of $$$.

Hey buddy. I know, I've been in and out on AFM for awhile as I work on my '66. The blackout is a 3d carbon panel that is painted satin black. It is held on with 3m tape and has trim stickers that go around the gas cap to make that area look black. It looks fantastic and I highly recommend it. Let me see what I paid for it and I'll get back to you.

My car is a manual. The 3.55's make a big difference, compared to I believe the 3.33's or 3.30's in the auto (not sure). How do each of your gears max out?
Mine max out like this:
1st - 40mph
2nd - 70mph
3rd - 105mph
4th - 120mph
5th - haha....the end of the speedo...149mph.

the highest ive tracked my car was up to 145-> I thought I was going to die, so I slowed down... It scared the life outa me, haha, it was on highway 27 headed towards 192.

Yea, I know generally where that is. I go to school over at VCC west campus, and drive by Isle worth coming home. pretty close to where your talking about.

I haven't been yet. I was supposed to go this wednesday, but me and my friends had to work. I ordered a C&L intake/sct tuner recently and it should get to me after this holiday weekend. I am going to go to the track sometime after I install it.
