on youtube search tacobill35... he is running the same exhaust that I am, but he has a video called exhaust comparison. thats the one the link says doesn't work, its still on youtube. It starts off stock, the frpp borlas, then borlas+O/R pipe... you can see the difference and hear it too. coolest thing about my o/r pipe is that when backing up, I can blow leaves off the ground because the flow is so powerful! haha
im searching youtube for videos, but my computer is a POS, and takes like 10 minutes to load 30 second clips....
my friend randy really helped me out, it was a pain, but worth every once of sweat and minute of hassle. have you ever heard my car? I think it was one of the cheapest mods that gets me the most compliments, everyone always says damn dude what do you have done to your car... it useto only be exhaust!
if your rethinking you exhaust, consider adding an o/r pipe. I got mine from brenspeed, pypes O/R h-pipe for $183 shipped, was to my house in 4 days and took 2 hours to install, made 1 hell of a difference in sound and through the sound you can feel the added horsepower! Even if the gain isnt that big, it sounds like an extra 40hp under the hood, haha...
It's hard to save anything now a days. You've done good if you ask me. I think either of the 2 sc's would be good. KB, and whipple both have definitely proved theirselves. I still haven't gotten any pics of my friends Shelby GT. I need to do that. He hasn't been riding it because of the weather up here. I haven't rode mine either. Did I tell you he put a set of American Racing Shelby Razor wheels on his Shelby? Man they look good on that car. I haven't done anything to mine yet. I'm looking at wheels. I love those Razors, but they have Shelby engraved into the wheel, and since my car isn't a Shelby car I just don't know if I want to do that. Take a look at Billet Specialties wheels, and let me know which ones you like in their selections. They have a super product, and I would kinda like to do something with them.
I really didn't buy much for the car. I think the CAI was really the only thing I bought for it. Of course, I'll lose a little bit, but for this car, it's worth it. Like I said, this needs to be my final purchase, though.
What you're going with seems like a good idea. I wouldn't go 10psi in a stocker. Even if it is said to be safe, that would scare me. Your setup that you're planning is a great idea. Go for it!
