yup, i went last night...my boys evo hit 12.0 in the 1/4.. and got a 1.6 60ft..w hich is PERFECT FOR that car w/ intake headers exhaust.. i got the video.. ill show u when posted up.. i didnt run.. but yeah some guy wrecked.. he hit the wall at 130..right after the sign lit up w/ his trap speed u saw a cloud of smoke.. then u lost sight of the car.. and u just saw huge sparks shooting up into the air(hits and scraps along the wall)

It was crazy.. they didnt race for like almost 2 hours..

so the verdict is, this weekend (after i finish the last of my college apps...ugh) i'm gonna order the silverhorse panel and foglight blackouts. i'm gonna leave the tailights alone for a while and most likely black them out completely when i either move out, or get my dad's endorsement. there's a place out here that can paint the tailights, signals, and side markers for ~$200, and it's totally legal.

my friend with the black gt just ordered a K&N CAI... i think i'm going to wait and just get the set-up from EVO that you have sometime next year, as long as the car can be returned to stock, i don't have an issue getting a tune, and for 300rwhp, i think i can handle the risk

I wish i still had a stick.. when i traded in my truck.. i bought a 07 Heat Edition.. it was a V6, 5spd manual.. fun lil car.. but didnt keep it.. i only got the GT auto b/c that was the last one and i jsut fell in love with it.. the price was right and yeah.. i bought it.. As for stickshift being a pain as a Daily driver.. i dont mind it at all.. b/c im usually messin around from light to light or with the friends.. plus there are some days i driver their cars nonstop.. and i dont want to stop.. i love every minute of it.. its soo much more fun.. yeah i have loads of fun in my car, but if it was stick...

yea the new Evos look cool, but the earlier ones look too ricey for me... I wish my car was a stick shift... but seriously it would get annoying on a daily driver. like sometimes I wish I was doing the shifting, and others I just want to cruise and am happy I have the auto.

Yeah, i looked at the evo and sti before the stang.. SRT-4's are not well built cars.. they fall apart like crazy.. i knew diff people that had them and wrecked.. the car prettymuch fallz apart.. they both were killed.. i would never say get one of them.. As for the Evo and STI.. id go for EVO first.. i love how they look inside and out compared to the STI.. STI sounds badass w/ exhaust.. i drove w/ my friend josh to my job interview today for a restaraunt.. and i got to drive the 25 mins back home.. haha.. Hes got full turboback exhaust and engine management/retune device.. hes got 350 hp at the crank.. but yeah, i was cruizin in 5th, and he goes- what gear are you in.. i say "5th" he goes.. downshift to 4th and floor that *****.. haha, its the same power feel as mine, when we race- its dead even.. ive pulled on him a bit, but a car in the way made us stop.. but either way.. its still fun driving a stickshift since i dont have one lol.. EVO owns all IMO tho.. stock.. they are like our cars from the factory, quick.. but just with a simple few boltons and retune, its insane! Im saving up for my Whipple blower.. and hope to get it in the next 5-7 months..i told him his 330 to the wheels wont be ****, he'll need to catch up.. so hes got a new job and saving for a bigger turbo and supporting mods haha.. like hes also going to get cams and the METH setup.. with those few more things.. he can be pushing 440 to the wheels or so.. He knows a few guys with the setup he has, and those extra things and they are all tuned by the same guy.. he has likelike 450whp.. his **** is sick.. runs insane times in the 1/4.. We will see who can be faster ... haha.. imma have to forge my whole engine tho .. more boost.. lol
