    About Me
I am a retired Bricklayer and cement finisher. Love working on old Mustangs. I belong to a car club in Illinois called Aurora Land Auto Restorers. The most active members of the club drive Mustangs. We went to Colorado 3 years ago with 7 Mustangs.

    Mustang Rides
1965 Springtime yellow Mustang convertible. 6 cylinder with 2 barrell carb, Clifford dual exhaust, mild cam and 3 speed tranny.
84 Anniversary convertible with aod. Bought from original owner with 56,000 miles. All original except tires and battery.

1964 Mustang Pace Car. in the process of being restored. Should be done by next spring. Found at a gas station in Greencastle In. while returning from the pony ride at the Brown County Park in Nashville In. Seller didn't have a clue it was a pace car.

      Hello everyone

For the past 2 years I have been in the process of restoring a 64 Mustang pace car. It is in the body shop being prepared to be painted pace car white. The engine, engine compartment and undercarriage have been detailed.

There are approximately 10 pace cars that are road worthy from the information I have been able to get. There were 4 at the Mecum auction this spring in Belvedere Il. which is 60 miles from where I live. One sold and the other 3 were pulled out of the auction. One man owned 3 and wanted to sell all 3 in one lot. All cars were in great condition.

I have been in contact with a guy from Michigan who is also restoring a pace car. He wants to have his done next spring. I want to have mine done by the spring of 08 and hope to meet him so we can compare our pace cars.

      I also own a 65 convertible and a 84 anniversary convertible.

Hope to hear from some of you members.
