if u dont mind ill go thru every thing i have for my car. im young and trying to learn. but have gotten 100 different opinions on things and i really just want to do the job right the first time. gt40p heads comp cam retainers springs etc fresh cleaned from machine shop, comp cam pedestal mount rocker arms, 306 block, e303 cam, srp forged pistons stock rods stock polished crank, spec1 clutch and flywheel, 24lb injectors maf sensor, 80mm meter, bbk unequal length headers, black magic electric fan, aluminum driveshaft, 5spd t5
trans, bbk cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust hi flow cats, nothing is installed in the car jus a pile of parts man.. i got screwed on the first block that i bought so its been a really slow project thats slowley starting to turn around. just throwing my main goal out there and hopefully you can give me some feedback on how easy or how hard its going to be to get there and what is involved as of right now to get there.. but im looking to get into the high 11s low 12s area streetable. i have a set of 355 gears w/ posi unit also not installed. i know suspension is going to help get me there with hooking up good havent got any suspension ****, but if u could help me out on what would be involved in getting to the 11s/12s id appreciate it, do u think the car would run ok with the **** ive got. again ill be getting the car tuned as well. i want to eventually throw a blower on it, the motors compression is 8:7:1 or somethig like that the guy i got it from said with a blower he was in the 10s on the the block i got. the blocks fresh line honed etc from machine shop. due to the money ive lost in this project i simply cant afford to throw a blower on it right away so ill be breaking the motor in and everything without a blower. again any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
