About Me
first and foremost im on this site because i LOVE my mustangs.
i got my first ever mustang at the age of 17. i received it from my grandfather when he passed away, and i got it as a graduation gift. it was a 1985 v6 convertible that was in rough shape. only 30K miles on it, but lots of dings, some rust, and a leaky v6 engine. i drove that for about 7 months before i was lucky enough to afford a 2007 v6 mustang i bought used with 29K miles on it.
needless to say the 85 took its spot in the garage... but that was then....
the next spring i became obsessed with 5.0 mustangs, so i began my transformation. it started in may of 2009, i bought a 5.0 engine. for the next 2 months i was buying every part in the 5.0 world to get me ready for this swap. july marked the month where i would start to rip the old 3.8 out, and begin to put the 5.0 in. after many frustrating parts store runs, and 4 months later, my beloved grandfathers mustang had turned into 5.0. i have never been more proud of myself, and i know my grandfather would be equally proud.
needless to say, the 07 took garage duty!! not really, but i really do love my 5.0.
