Shopping around for a performance shop in NJ to install 4:10 gears. 2 places I checked so far want $475 (Joe Heck racing) and $450 (JDM) labor only. A bit to steep for me. Any suggestions and experiences? THANKS!!!

Valley Performance in Belleville NJ, no personal experience as of yet so FYI. He'll be installing exhaust come spring. Was recommended by die hard Mustang/Ford guy - he's supposed to be tops here in northern NJ - I'll add thoughts about them as I have more things on my car done through him.

I have had alot of work done to my 69 mustang and my 99 cobra here at VALLEY PERFORMANCE in Belleville. The guy is top notch. He doesn't overcharge and tells ya like it is, or if ya need it or ya dont. Doesnt take advantage. The work he does is excellent and I would recommend him to everyone here in Northern NJ.

I agree Valley performance does awesome work...Alfredo is a great guy goes way beyond what he says he's going to do ....I had him do everyhting in my Sig....Hes going to do my gears and rear stuff like axles,,,subframes...upper and lower A-arms..then were going into the motor...H/C/I....i trust him with my car....
