Try to make it out there this weekend if you can David. I'd really like to meet you and check out your ride, and this may be the last function I will be able to do for a while.

I can't make it this weekend, my daughter is making her first Communion and I have family coming in. Maybe we can meet up on the Colonial Parkway one day next week. PM me and we'll set up a time and place.

That's cool David, I completely understand.

I'm actually busy working all week - started a new position and I now work 6 days a week. Tuesdays are my only days off. However, I was talking with Don and Scotty W. at New Town this past week, and we were talking about all four of us meeting up on the Parkway and cruising and taking pics sometime soon. I think we should try to arrange this.

Also, I did work it to where I will be able to work a half day on Saturday, so I should be able to make most of, if not all, the New Town Cruise-Ins... so we could always meet up at one of those too.

My 65 is pretty beat, half of it primered, but I'd still love to show up at one of the cruise-ins. I dunno if that's cool, considering moste evryone's cars are re-built. But I'd like to meet some of you guys for sure.

Ya, I'm DEFINITELY interested in a car club! Right now, my 65 definitely needs a lot of work, but any help or just meeting others on base would be great! Feel free to e-mail me at work! Michael.Garland@Langley.AF.Mil

Nothing wrong with primer. It's nice to see cars in the process of being built-up. It might give you some ideas or good contacts you can use in your restoration.

You should check out the Newtown Cruise In on Saturday evenings put on by the Peninsula Mustang Enthusiasts. We also have a show coming up at the Yorktown CG station on Saturday.

Welcome to the forums. My Brother In-Law lives up your way. I like the Winchester area. It's one of my favorite places to visit.

Welcome to the forums. Charlottesville is a nice area. Check out the Rivah Side Restaurant some time. I designed the building.
I came up with the following for you:
Charlottesville Virginia Cruisers; P. O. Box 993, Troy, 22974. - 804-589-2207
Hopefully, that helps. Also, take a look at the Central Virginia Car Club Council. They'll usually have links to all the member clubs and their cruise-ins/ shows.
