Hampton (for now) I am moving to Chesterfield in late May and was wondering what there is to do in that area as far as clubs, cruises and shows? Let me know!!!
Keep an eye on the Central Virginia Car Club Council website calendar. They'll usually have a good representation of the area cruise-in's and shows: Car Club Council of Central Virginia

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

I was born and raised in Richmond, and close to Chesterfield. Check out the Central VA Mustang Club. They have one or two shows a year in the Richmond area. Nice bunch of people. My Dad is a member. For auto body work, stay away from Bruce's on Midlothian Turnpike.

Welcome to the site! You'll find a lot of good info here. Do you know about the cruise-in's at Bass Pro Shops on Saturday night?
thanks... i saw somthing about it earlier.... what kinda deal is it? do alot of people go?? .. id problably just drive by and check it out my mustang is not much of a show car... yet.... is that why i saw a bunch of old hot rods last time i went to saddle ridge??
Born and raised in Williamsburg, was in Blacksburg between '99-04 while attending Virginia Tech, afterwards I returned back to the Hampton Roads area.
I'm the proud owner of a 2006 GT, my first Mustang. I absolutely love it!
Welcome to the fold. Nice ride.
You should check out one of the local clubs or attend a Cruise-in. There are lots of Mustang related activities in this area.

So the maroon & orange didn't dilute that blue & white any I see
Well, that is a tricky observation. I was the only one in my family to be born outside of Kentucky, but you wouldn't be able to tell it if you knew me and my family. I was raised on UK basketball, but it is good to see them starting to put together a good and competitive football team. Now I love Virginia Tech, of course, and Tech football; watching games at Lane stadium is just amazing. Similar to that of UK, it is good to see Tech starting to put together a good basketball team. So I am a huge UK and VA Tech fan for both different, and similar reasons. If that makes any sense to ya? lol
Anyways, thanks again for the welcome, and the compliments, and I hope to attend some local functions in the future!
My car is pretty much stock but I'm going to start doing some minor mods in the near future. I will probably start off w/ some FRPP Stinger axle backs, and then go with either the JLT or C&L Intake w/ Tune (likely from Brenspeed); stuff I can do myself. Not sure where to go from there, want to get a set of those Foose Nitrous wheels and maybe get some 3.73 gears and some new pulleys. What do you all think? Like I said earlier, I'm new to Mustangs, and modding as well, but these seem like pretty logical mods for me to do. I may put the Foose wheels off for a bit longer than the others, considering the cost and what not.

Yeah, as long as the weather is nice, there is a cruise-in there every Sat night. It's free and people start showing up around 7PM...some earlier, some later....and hang out until 10PM or so. There are any and all kinds of cars there. Definitely a nice relaxing evening to check out cool cars.

We'll have to figure out a good night for everybody to hit Bass Pro, even if it's just to check out the other cars.
I'll be showing up towards the end of August....that's when I get back from my deployment to the desert. I'm over here now...thank goodness for a reliable internet so I can still chime in!
