Default Dyno/Computer programm Shop in MD

Hey all. My 1990 Supercharged DSS 331 is in need of computer programming and dyno. Does anyone know of any good shops in MD?

Maryland Performance can do it but they are expensive, $800 for just all day dynoing, $88 a hour for labor, $400 for custom computer programming, $300 for them to look at it and do compression tests.

JPC said that I do not need the computer programmed. They said sicne I am running 42# injectors and calibrated 42# MAF I should be fine. NOT!!!

Thanks..

Well you might want to take Justins or Tommys advice from JPC they are about the best in the business. They would not steer you in the wrong direction.

Tell me about it! I was thinking of taking to JPC but the person I talked to said that the MAF that I have is not good enough and that I should get a P&M with goes for $340??? The MAF that is in there is brand new, when I ordered it from Summit it said it was a 80mm/42# which i htink it is because when I put the the engine and s/c in and started it up, it was running rich off the stock MAF till I got the MAF installed which made it driveable. So why should I go and get another MAF?? From what I understand about MAFs is that it tricks the comphter into thinking you have 42# injeactors. So with that said, JPC said nothng about air/fuel mix, fuel pressure, MAF volts, Supercharger boost, compression, and the list goes on...

Now Maryland performance on the phone seemed to know what they are talking about. I have them a generic over view of what engine i had and s/c and they pretty much knew my applicaiton w/o going into to much detail. Even though they are expensive they knew what they were talking about.

I have $20K invested in this monster and want to get it programmed/tuned right, but not get bent over on price.
