Does anyone know of a reputable shop in NJ that could do racing stripes? Vinyl or painted, i am still up in arms about which to do. I just need some options.
James, look on NJ stangers - difeo, a sponsor of theirs in jersey city does stripe installs...
I'm at a loss, the guy who did mine never came back to fix a tiny area he messed up and the other guy I was contacted never got back to me... if you find someone closer - let me know, please!

I just found a guy to do the body work on my mustang and I am having him paint a set of stripes when it is done I will post pictures and let you know how it turned out. He is doing all the body work and paint for $2,500. Here are so pictures of my project.
thanks john. I am going to give them a call and see if i can get an estimate. I know its expensive as heck to get them painted and i am low on cash since i have my 6 months of insurance to pay soon and i am buying my tires and rims soon after that. So yea... might have to wait another year since anything extra has to be a power mod since i want to crack 300RWHP
Hello all, I can & do install race stripes in central jersey (vinyl) have been since the 05 model came out.
You may be intrested to know their have been some new developements in the vinyl/paint stripe world.
You still have the high performance vinyl option but the life expectance varys greatly depending on the color of thr car as well as the color of the vinyl, sun exposer and so on.
New to the stripe world is Paintrd vinyl, this is highperformance wrap material that is painted & clear coated this stuff has a 5yr ON THE HOOD WARRANTY this blows away normal vinyl as all normal vinyl is only rated for side appliaction. Also the color gamut is amazing house of color like options briliant metallics.
Also the gloss is like wet paint.
These stripes also can be buffed if ever needed IE: PAINT
If you paint stripes on your car you void the factory paint warranty.
