My club will be holding a New Year's Day cruise with Jan 3rd (Sat) as the backup/rain day.

No route planned yet but we'd love to meet up with other clubs and any other stangs interested in playing.

Last year we ran north to south in Calvert County but will probably try Prince George's Co and maybe NVA (if there's interest from others in joining the cruise) Waldorf, MD to Fredericksburg, VA is an idea, too.

More info to follow but we will be meeting up at least as far north as Upper Marlboro and cruising 301 into VA and on to Tappahanook for dinner.

There will be a stop in La Plata and probably just past the bridge in VA then on to Tappahanook.

Still gauging interest from a couple other clubs to see if we need to start further north.

Times to follow as we get a better idea of who's cruising.

Southern Maryland Mustang Club - Serving the Southern Maryland Mustang Enthusiast

Here's the lowdown:
We will be meeting at the Wawa, at the intersection of US301 South and McKendree Rd in Mattawoman (North Waldorf), Maryland at 11:00am and departing a short time later. We will traval US301 South to the Wawa in La Plata, across from Wal-Mart and depart at or just after Noon. Then it's on to Virginia with a stop for photo's just beyond the bridge. Then back to the cruise with a left onto VA205 through Colonial Beach with a short stop near George Washington's Birthplace. Back onto VA205 to a left onto VA3 through Warsaw, Virginia. Then a right onto US 360, across the river and then a left onto US 17 south and to Lowry's in Tappahannook for dinner. All are invited, of course.
