Im in the newport news area and i really want to get my stang detailed. Hasnt been washed in about 2 months. I dont prefer to go outside in the friged temps and try to do it myself. i was wondering if anyone here knows a good company. Not looking for a car spa type place, more like someone who comes to you or a pure detailing company?

Has anyone else paid a company to do the clean and wax for them and had bad experiences?

Im guessing most people here just clean and wax there cars themselves..i was thinking about buying some cleaner from Griots garage Spray-On Car Wash Kit - Cleaners - Car Washing - Car Care - Griot's Garage

anyone else tried this kinda cleaner before?

There should be a MWR garage somewhere on one of the bases in the Hampton Roads area, forgive me since I was a west coast Sailor and don't know your area well, so I'd find a hi-pressure spray wash and rinse the car off, grab some towels and pay MWR for a bay for an hour or two and shine it up yourself.

and, I wouldn't trust that 'carwash in a bottle' stuff with a black car. I wouldn't use it on my blue one...

I know Cruise-thru Car Wash does detailing up on St Rt 17 in front of the Hampton Roads Harley-Davidson dealership. I haven't had them detail one of my cars but I have seen some high end cars in there getting done.
