Machine Shop in Hampton Roads area

Hey guys, im looking for a good machine shop in the Hampton Roads area thats not going to overcharge me to get a 302 cleaned and bored...ill put it all together, just need them to do the machining. Any recommendations?

What city are you looking for it to be in, so I can ask my friend if he knows of one there?

Im in Hampton...so I would prefer that side of the water. If they are really good and I like their prices I would definitely consider your side though!

Well once i find a 302 in my price range that looks halfway decent im gonna get it cleaned and bored .030, if its not already bored, so i can start building it up.

Alright he didn't know of any in Hampton but he said there are two shops he's dealt with and both are great with what they do. Both old school in their ways, but one is more of a hot rod style and the other is pretty much equal all around. Like I said both in Norfolk and I don't really know their prices but I know the older guy is a perfectionist so it's a bit more expensive with him. They are both off of Tait terrace

cool beans, ill check em out, thanks Famous! I also got Apple Machine Shop recommended by one of the guys at the mustang club I'm joining this weekend so with those i should have a fairly good selection of choices
