Looking for weather forcasts for the Ford Nationals @ Carlisle on June 1-3rd. Have hotel all set,registered and detailing the car. the only thing that will stop me is the weather. It is an 8hr drive for me one way and don't look forward to driving there to sit in the rain all weekend. Checked Weather.com and they predict Thundershowers all weekend. Is this pretty much normal when it gets hot in Carlisle in the summer? If any of you out there can keep me up to date, I have till Thurs to cancel the Hotel and get a refund. Any help would be great, Thanks....

Last time it rained friday and was sunny Sat and Sun.. it was suppose to rain all weekend...

I heard it is supposed to rain and Carlisle is known for its tradition of raining every year at the all ford nats. Went every year for the last 3 years, and last year was the worst because I actually had my Stang to bring and it would rain lightly for a few minutes, then quit, then I'd get up, dry her off, throw on another coat of detailer, sit down, rain agian, get up and do it again, and again...I went through atleast half a bottle of meguiars last year because of mother nature. Just waiting to get tomorrow's work done, pack up the stang real quick, touch up a few areas, sleep, then leave here probably 6ish saturday morning.
