I have a 2001 GT Conv and need to either swap the engine or do some mayor repair. Not sure what the exact problem is. Long story short... I am not a hands on person with regards to repairs. I'd like to have a shop (other than the dealer) where I can take my car and do any kind of mods I'd like. Preferably Mustang specialists.
Anybody know where I can go to look at my options as far as engine swaps? Mods? etc... What I'd really like is get a Cobra engine and switch from Auto to Manual transmission. I don't know much about specs.
Any feedback/guidance is appreciated. I am in Teaneck (north jersey).
The only shop I've heard of in our area is Valley Performance, in Belleville on River Road (next to Rt. 21) Alfredo is a Mustang nut - from things I have heard, he'll take great care of your ride for you. Check him out first, I've never had major work done by them!

I just went to crazy horse racing last weekend for a dyno day and it was a very nice place.
Valley Performance i also know someone who works there and has a very good relationship with the owner. The owner is a very good guy who is willing to work with you. I am going to head down there probably next month after i get some mod money
