2008 Mustang Meet in Ithaca, NY.....???

I am the president of a local Mustang club in the Ithaca, NY area and was wondering what anyone's thoughts would be on a possible Mustang Meet this summer in the Ithaca area? I would probably hold it at a local park or at the local Ford dealer, if they would agree. I am looking for comments and thoughts, so please feel free to let me know what you think.

hmm maybe ithaca is a ways away for me. depends on how many are gonna show up. Its about a 2 hr drive.

is anyone going to carlisle we can all roll down to gether.

june 6th -8th

i went last year and got lucky finding a hotel room 4 miles from the show. this year im taking a camper down. which also will include all your admissions to the show. much cheaper and its nice to get under a awning when it warm out there. If youve been there befor youll know what i mean.

Ithaca is a good two hours away for me, that being said it is a great drive getting their. So,I'll have to con my wife in checking out a few of your great finger lake wineries and it could be a done deal.

I know it is the dead of winter, but I thought i might get a little better response than I have so far. It is very hard to try and plan a summer event in the winter time, but if I don't start now, I will not get a good date and might not get a good venue. Please give me some thoughts on a Central NY Mustang meet, possibly in the Ithaca area....? Lack of any response tells me there is huge lack of interest....I hope I am wrong????
