Default Do aftermarket exhausts affect Emission laws?

I live around Saint Louis and we have strict emission laws. If i get my SLP Loudmouth Catback will it affect the exhaust in any ways that are bad?

As long as you have your cats i think you'll be alright. But think about how many people drive around without them.

Depends. Some do and some don't.

First, is federal emisssions standards. Anything that changes the function, design, or location of the cats is illegal. Headers must have a CARB number.

The other issue is noise. In most cities, anything that increases the noise over stock is illegal.
