I'm really going to try and go, but i may have to go myself, my g/f may not be able to get off work, i might spend some time trying to find someone to cruise down with and split a room, but its the number one show on my list this year.....

My husband and I are wanting to go to MW and would like to know if this is something that would be appropriate for a nine and an eleven year old?

I've been there four times and it's always fun. The cruise in is a good place to bring your kids. Keep in mind there is a lot of traffic all the time ! Be careful when you depart that area. There have been several high profile crashes and everyone always lines the curb to watch the burn outs.
The cops like their bicycles. They post spotters with radio's to contact cruiser units down the road to pull you over.

The car show is always amazing. Definitely bring your kids to that event.

Keep in mind, the sweltering temps take a quick toll.

If you plan to stay over night, North Myrtle Beach has some good prices away from the beach.
