Default reputable mechanic in the Vegas area

Greetings everone

I've just recently moved to the northwest outskirts of Vegas Valley. I'm looking for a mechanic able to work on our 2001 gt convert and 2002 gt coupe.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Also, A problem I've had with my car from the time I bought it is that if the weather is very hot and I have the air conditioner on. If I decelerate quickly and the rpms drop real quick, the car dies. No fun when you are trying to stop quickly. Anyone have that problem? Any ideas?

I've lived in Vegas for all of my life, and I've yet to find a reputable mechanic. I've been taking my stang to Auto Tech at Craig and Decatur recently, and they've seemed to do an alright job. They make sure all your fluids and everything are topped off and they're pretty thorough. Nothing I would 100% guarantee though, because I haven't had enough work done there.

I'm also looking for a good muffler shop in the valley besides "Best Muffler Shop". If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

AAA Exhaust is a good muffler shop. Theyve dfone all work on my car, and dont charge too much if ya know someone. Beware if running an off road pipe though, the state is coming down on them hard so they cant work with no emmissions that much.
