I am looking for help in educating me about the purchase of a 1967 mustang for my husbands 50th birthday. It was his first car at the age of 16 and he would love to have one again. I'd like to suprise him with one to drive around town in the summer. We are in the Chicago area. I would prefer a convertible. Any advise on where to start?

Try and contact a local Mustang club for some leads and advice on what to look out for. You can cover up a lot of mistakes with some bondo and paint, oh ya, and lie a lot about the car. Good luck, sure hope your husband will like what ever you get him.
