i have a 1988 mustang with a 2.3 and i was wondering what i should do to put a 302 in it. i dont want to use fuel injection or would that be easier? and is the 5 speed in it the same as the 5.0.

i have the same car but with an automatic, im doing the same swap.
302 from an 83 mustang (carb) all you have to change is motor and trans, the same 5 speed cannot be used. you can use a t-5 if you still want a 5 speed. it is easier to switch to a carb motor.
