Need help with posting pictures...

Im gonna be takin pics tomorrow of my 66', what is the best size for this website, and should I toss them all in my profile or start a thread. Or should I just give a link to that photobucket deal?

Hi!! We can't wait to see the pictures! Each picture has to be less than one meg each... remember, for web you don't need as high a resolution as you do if you were going to print them.

Please do not use photobucket - photo links are not permitted in posts and if you decide to move the pics in your album, they are no longer linked to the post and won't show up for anyone.

Here is how you post pictures!

1) Click on "New Thread"

2) Type what you'd like to tell everyone

3) Scroll down and click on "Manage Attachments"

A Box will pop up with available slots for your pictures.

4) Click on "Browse"

5) Select the image from your folder you'd like to upload

6) Click "Open"

Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 for additional images.

7) Once set - click on "Upload" - they are now attached to your thread.

8) When you are sure everything is the way you want it - click on submit thread and wait for the responses!!

An easy way to make sure they're the right size for posting would be to use the VGA setting, if it's a digital camera you'll be using.

Make sure your pics are less than 1 MB! That way you will have no issues!

You can also create an Album in your profile with a link in your new thread to your Album with a picture saying check out my album.

Some graphic programs such as paint and photoshop let you resize images.

MS powertoys had a pixresizer that works great. Just right click and resize. BTY why can't we link pictures on this site?

Because if the picture is removed from the link for whatever reason, we have a dead thread and the site gets penalized by Google.
