I got mine from Evolution Performance, JLT cold are intake, and yeh..it's definatly worth it. My tuner tuned it after I installed their tune and I have 550 to the rear. I could tell a HUGE difference in performance.

Before upgrading my car with a TVS blower I ran a power upgrade from VMP Tuning in Florida. I made 586rwhp with a custom tune from VMP.

Now I am waiting for my new E85 setup and tune, shuold be making over 700rwhp.

Yes, It´s much cheaper than premium fuel and has the same octane rating as race fuel.

I've been back and forth on the Methanol injection. It can be very corrosive from what I understand.

What other mods do you have? A tune alone on the stock blower will not get 586rwhp
Justin will tell you, a stock TVS won't get you 700rwhp. He's at 697rwhp with a 2.6 pulley,10% OD balancer on the TVS with stock exhaust.

You are right, and i will run exactly those parts plus BORLA XR-1 racing headers with X-Pipe and a larger fuel system with 60lb injectors. Fine tuning will be done by Justin, for the racing days he should tune the car for 100hp shot of nitrous on top of the mods

@GT500girl:
I am not talking of Methanol injection ( the system from Snow performance will give you roughly 65rwhp on a GT500 ), I will be using E85 aka Ethanol aka biofuel. But you are right in one point, with both systems there will be danger of more corrosion, but not for our cars because the fuel tank is plastic and the pipes and injectors are coated with anti corrosion coating.

Hey Ralf,

Hmm..I haven't heard of that one. So you think it's ok on the GT500's then? I have to look into this more..like I said I've been back and forth on it. Anyways let me know what all you know about this. Thanks!
