In the latest issue of Celebrity Car magazine, Houston Texans running back Ahman Green shows off his car collection. I was surprised to see in his fleet of cars a GT500, I have not heard of any pro athletes or entertainers that have bought GT500's, I thought this was cool. Below is a scan from the magazine. He also owns a grey 1967 shelby GT500 Eleanor like the one in "Gone in 60 Seconds".

A tiny caption along the bottom of the main photo identifies it as a 2007 GT500. However the car is most certainly a 2008 GT500. Both vapor silver metallic paint and ebony black stripes were new to the GT500 for 2008 (neither was available for 2007).

The rims on it are indeed nice. Glad they are not 22 inch solid chrome like some yahoos would slap on there.

This car is for sale right down the road from my house. Just took it for a test drive, still has the batman markings on it and only has 7,500 miles. They took the rims off the car but will sell them. And it is an '07 not an '08.

Yeah, we will see how he does. Looks like we are trying to put the old team back together again with adding him and Tauscher. Forget the newest F-word (Favre) though!

He has been out of work since early this year so maybe that is why the car was for sale - doubt it!
