So there are some mods that I would like to do my GT500, but at what point does the warrenty become voided? I have heard that changing the exhaust will not, but what about a CAI, UDP or Chip reprogramming?
From my understanding, you won't void the entire warranty with those mods. You just void the parts that you change out. And with those mods if you have a problem, its shouldn't be too hard to revert back to stock and get your warranty work.
it also helps if you make some friends in the dealership that will be doing your warranty work if you have any, remember that the tech that does the work gets paid less to do a warranty job as compared to a customer paid job that takes the same time.some dealer personal will just light the board up if everything isn't as factory installed.you just have to be cautious.

I think it's all in the deal Paul. I have a boatload of mods to mine and they have tried to void my warranty but SVT wouldn't let them. From my understanding though it would only be on those parts.

If you are talking about UDP's(Underdrive Pullies)... you cant do them.. REason is- a blower is an accessory... UDP's spin accessories slower such as the a/c all that good stuff.. its to save hp from being used up.. so that means you'd be slowing up your blower and ud kill your boost greatly..

+1 on that. $teve had to pay to get his UDP's pulled off before he got his saleen S/C installed.

Good call... I now mean to say S/C pulley.
Does a smaller S/C pulley require a belt change or will the tensioner take up the slack?
The tensioner will pull out the slack..no need for a new belt. I would go with the 2.6 like I did...you can get it from evoperform.com Most other places I've seen selling them are selling the 2.75 I think.
