My friend and I pulled the Drive Shaft from his Shelby GT 500. It weighed in at 43#. He is having John Holt Race Cars from Columbus, Ohio build him a new one made from Aluminum. It should weigh approx. 13#. How much HP. do you think this will free up to the wheels? Just Curious. Thanks Rick

Tough to say but it is a serious reduction in rotating mass. He'll feel the difference too. PowerHouse411 has a GT-500 driveshaft off the shelf. I run one on my GT and it's been great.
