Default Has anyone upgraded the clutch in your GT500

I am looking for GT500 owners who have upgraded or may be considering upgrading there clutch and flywheel. I have a customer interested in doing so and was curious if anybody had any feedback on this.

THANKS

Cool Thanks. I know Mcleod has a kit for the GT500. I heard the stock clutch is capable of handling 1000 HP... I'm not sure if that's true. I have had a couple of customers complaining of clutch slippage. One with only 700 miles on the car. Not sure if its driver error but, I know these newer Mustangs are a different bread with the hydralic clutches. Some don't like not being able to feel the clutch. Spec also has an upgaded twin disc clutch capable of 800-1000 HP. Thanks for the feedback.
