Default Exhaust size?

Is the exhaust on a GT 500 the same size as a GT ?

Ya they are 2.5 inch. The manifolds are different and it has an X pipe though. They say the mufflers are different too.

the tips on the GT500 look exactly the same as on the GT. Its the guts inside the muffler that have to be different. No way a 300 HP and 500 HP have the same exhaust stock

Default I finally got mine!!!

after building these hot rods for customers, I finally got mine!!!
It's a 2007 I put alot of work into it for a friend, then he needed to sell it.
I couldn't let her go to any one else, so I got my better half to agree to let me purchase it. Although I still have an 03 GT. The only thing she is not happy about is loosing her side of the garage!!!! LOL

I will be posting pictures soon........
Say tuned it is one bad ride

You would think that they would have put a larger better flowing system on the 500's. I know that with the complete Kooks Header and X-pipe kit the 500 will put down another 40HP! That is a huge # for just that upgrade!

If any of you guys get ready to do that system let us know!

The Shelby should have come with a 3 inch exhaust but it didn't the supercharger needs some space to breath.
