I'm buying a 08' ebony/gunmetal GT500 and i like to write down all the information on the car/mods w.e anyways I would like to know what block is in the car i know its 5.4 32v im pretty sure 281ci? i would like to know what is the make of the block romeo/windsor ect. what size rear end/gears? i think 3:55s with 8.8" 8 bolt or 6 bolt crank, and what type of transmission i think Tremac T6060? not sure.. someone has to give me the specs and makes. i went to the dealer and they just give me numbers that i already know.. so please if you have a link or any information

edit: also if anyone knows what this specific 5.4 will handle? i see 800 wheel already. anyone know a max?

edit again: rim/tire sizes if you have them.. i know 285s in the rear so probably 18x9s front and back?

The 5.4L 32v engine is 330 cu.in. (the Mustang GT's 4.6L is 281 cu.in.). Engine is built on the Romeo niche line by a two man crew who then sign a special plate that gets stuck onto the passenger side valve cover. 3.31:1 gears are standard in the GT500 (no other optional gears, although the $80K GT500KR gets 3.73:1 gears) in an 8.8" rear end. Only trans available is the 6-speed Tremec 6060 with 2.97:1 first gear. All four rims are 18X9.5 with P255 front and P285 rear Goodyear F1 tires. You say the color is ebony/gunmetal: is that black paint with dark silver stripes or is the paint alloy metallic?

i knew gary would chime in before i got a chance to butt my ugly face in here

But from what i have read, there are people who can get a package through ford that gives you upwards of 725 HP but has no warranty. I believe it includes a more powerful S/C with higher boost, pulley, tune, intake, and maybe another thing or two in there like bigger injectors
