One dealer near me has their GT 500's marked with a $6000 premium, but another dealer's sales manager told me today he'd sell their Vista Blue GT 500 coupe for the 47K sticker. Just wondering what the market is currently like.
Your best bet was to get one before the dealers knew the cars would see for 60K. If gas went to 10$ a gallon maybe, but the sticker will never go below unless u are real tight to a dealer even then you are going to pay more.
I've heard that there are GT500's that you can get for MSRP... There was a thread in the '05 talk section not too long ago on this very subject! I'll see if I can dredge it up!

I have seen a few go under sticker here recently.....find a dealer thats in a small town with one and really has no chance of selling it local. I know of one bought a month back for several grand under sticker and I know where a red/white rag-top is right now that can be got for under sticker. Dealers are getting smart......these fuel prices control the market pretty harsh......go look at the SUV market or anything v-8 powered, hell they'll pay you to take it off their hands almost.

I saw a 2008 gt500 for $1100 Under Msrp on ebay....
I have seen many being sold on ebay at Msrp or under.
Yep you will have dealers still trying to sell these cars over Msrp,I think they will be sitting on them for a long time..
I was thinking of getting a 2009 Shalby 500 for under msrp,,,,but I want to see what their newest stangs will look like in 2010

Much the same here on the left coast, although the "below MSRP" part is not as pronounced. Best I have seen is $500 under MSRP.

You can get one for MSRP now, here's a kicker a
dealer here in San Diego has a KR priced at
$182,000. I damm near fell on the floor laughing
when I saw it and that was 2 months ago and the car is still there.
I've also seen GT500s for sticker or less. I also saw a KR for the low price of $91,000 in New York.
When I shopped GT500s in San Diego around the first of September I had one deal for $1,200 below sticker, but decided against it. Even then the guy was making "Let me try for less" noises.
Seems to me it shouldn't be long before dealers will be ready to move the cars at close to their cost, although last week I saw a new GT500 with a "market adjustment" of $20,000 stuck in the window. And it didn't even have the GTA mufflers!
I saw a GT 500 in Hagerstown, MD . It was marked up 10K. The sales guy came up and asked me if I was interested as I was climbing in my GT/CS. I told him not at that price and then recommended he check out ebay. He then asked how about at sticker? I smiled and drove away. Nice car, wouldn't mind having one but someno trying to stick it to me doesn't settle well.
