Tire Pressures- Stock/Recommended I am getting GT500 sized tires for my almost clone. 255/45-18 front, 285/40-18 rear.
What tire pressures are Ford recommending on your door sticker and what have you found to work for you in normal driving conditions? My sticker for the 235/50-18's says 35 psi all the way around. I have stock suspension.
Sorry, I checked the posts again and there was another on this subject.
Thanks,
Frank

They have the same pressure on their stickers.

I always go by what the tire says on the side of the tire near the tire's size

The guys who mounted the tires recommended 32 psi all around. I am trying that and it has a better ride, which is what I am looking for.

The sidewall says max of 50 psi. I'd hate to drive it with that much pressure in them.

After considerable research on this very subject everyone from Goodyear, Firestone, Tire Rack, Discount Tire and Summit Racing were unanimous in using the suggested pressure on the door sticker. NEVER use the sidewall listed pressure.
