Exclamation GT500 Intercooler + Heat Exchanger Upgrade from Velocity

This is for all GT500, GT500KR, GT500SS, FR500C, FR500CJ & FORD GT Owners,

In addition to all the suggestion previously listed, we are currently in the final development stages for our NEW & Exclusive GT500 Undercharger Intercooler Upgrade. We are also developing 3 different thickness Heat Exchangers. Our Heat Exchangers and Intercoolers are Privately Manufactured to our specs by GRIFFIN Radiators (with whom we are partnerd) and they Feature our Enhanced Extruded Tube Air/Coolant Flow Technology, which has seen as high as 98% Efficiency @ 22lbs of boost with as little as 1.42lbs of restriction . When compared to all of the other Charge Air Handling components available for superchargers and turbos that is an increase of 25% over their documented performance numbers!

The advantage to be had by upgrading the intercooler is a Increase in Boost flow by 20-30%, a 10-15% reduction in weight and a cooler charge temperature which equates to a denser charge meaning more power!

These units are 3D CAD Designed and Hand Crafted for flawless performance. These units will be featured on 2 prominent Race Cars, the Team Falken Formula Drift Mustang (2 time world champion) and the Land Speed Team Hijak FR500CJ (this car was featured in the DEC. Issue of HOTROD).

When combined with our Super Street Heat Exchanger (2 Row 1.250" Core) and our Battery Coolant Tank you should expect those numbers to increase significantly. The test data we do have has shown a noticeable increase in torque and throttle response when used in accordance with the stock pulley and Heat Exchanger.

We are about 6 weeks or so away from finishing these Intercoolers and one for the Ford GT as well.

We do not have a price locked in as of right now but based on our new units for the 2003-2004 Cobra and 1999-2004 Lightning I would say that the ball park figure would be somewhere around $700.00. Special Pricing will also be put in place for AFM Members only! So be sure to PM us before you call to ensure your discount.

As we get closer to the finish date I will post up some more information. We are taking reservations right now so give us a call and reserve yours soon.

Please Keep in mind that these units will be made to order to ensure nothing less than the highest quality product possible.

Call (919) 239-4672 ask for Stephen

I will be more than happy to answer any an all questions that you may have regarding these Intercoolers or any of our other products.

Dealer Inquiries Welcome.

im looking for the blower that'll add 800hp to the Shellby....600hp will sound good with the simple, tuner, full header exhaust, intake combo.

But my friend has the new 2009 dodge viper that comes 600hp stock,so thats out of the question for me.

i've only bolted in bassani longtube headers and exhaust, its enough but the viper pulls away from me slowly on track

is there any titanium internals for the shellby?....maybe i'd like to have it at the drag strip afew times with the new high performance blower + Nos
i have BFG street legal drags already.

Thumbs up

If you are looking walk that dodge then you are going to need some serious mods for sure.

In addition to a Whipple 3.4 you might want to look into the ford GT lower intake. It features dual injector ports per cylinder and it offers less restriction. The other cool feature is you can fit a larger Undercharger Intercooler then the GT500.

The Bonneville car I am working on right now will be pushing over 1500hp on E85. Needless to say we have had to address near about every issue and make sure it all hold together over the 5 mile run.

I dont want to hijack this thread anymore then I already have so if you would like some more information on what we can do for you please just give us a call and we will get you all the information that you will need.

Thanks,

Stephen

I put a 3.4 on mine. I've got around 800 RWHP to the ground on my street tune. But to do this you need a lot of other mods as well. If you do go with this blower though I wouldn't spray it with too much.

I haven't seen any titanium internals for them yet.

Here is a list of my mods and what it took to get my car where it is now.
