Well first off, a cold air intake, a smaller pulley and some exhaust will get you in the neighborhood of 100 RWHP but then again i don't own a GT500. A dyno tune after getting all of your mods in order will yield you excellent results. You can also swap your blower out for one with more power and bolt on 200+ right away.

You are really asking two different things.

Adding a CAI with tune programmer can add 50+ hp and make it faster.
Adding a CAI with dyno tune and changing to a smaller pulley can add 100+ hp.
Replacing the stock blower can add even more horsepower and make it even faster.

But getting it to the low 9s is another thing altogether. This requires expensive modifications in multiple areas. Send a PM to PLstang (Eric) and ask him what it takes. Frankly, you don't sound capable of installing all the upgrades that would be needed yourself, so unless you are independently wealthy I think you should forget trying for the 9s and be satisfied with one of the three steps I listed above.

To get it into the 9's your going to have to do A LOT to it. A huge blower or turbos for starters..then you need a boost a pump or something and on and on. If you want some help PM me and we can chat on the phone. I currently have a 07 GT500 that I race and just modded it again. Still not quite finished but it should hopefully hit the 9's easily. My name is Shellee by the way.

Sounds like you know what you are doing. Where is southwest Florida do you live? Are you going to Bradenton track? Looking to buy a Shelby and just started doing my research on what can be done to the car since I like to go to the track.

Hey hun. If your going with the 3.4 you will also need like a KB boost a pump. Bigger injectors and fuel rails would be good as well. I just put 72lbers in mine. I'll you know real soon how it turns out. I just finished the 3.4 install on mine, KB boost a pump and MAFia. Put in a start up tune yesterday and data logged. Will do more data logging today and finish the tune then strap her down to the dyno. I'll probably keep it somewhat conservative for now because I tweaked my aluminum driveshaft awhile back racing so have the stock one back in it now but I'm waiting on my auto tranny and new driveshaft to show up. Hopefully that will be here in the next few weeks and installed. It's a good start to a list though. It just never ends..let me tell you! lol Oh..and by the way..forget street tires once you get this all going. For the street I would put some MT ET streets on but even with that you'll blow them off. I was all ready blowing them off before I put the 3.4 on. lol

I'm putting a 4R70W AOD in mine from Lentech. I hear ya. Sorry it hurts your back! Well now your going to need a back brace too then!

No problem. Your welcome. Anytime.

No they are talking about the rear end gears not the width of the axle. When you put a auto in you want them to gear the tranny for your application and for the rear end gears you have in your car which I would go with 3.73's.

Your welcome! I updated the list so you may want to take a look at it again. I don't think I had everything on there for the 3.4 install...and actually if it's tuned properly you can still use your street tires. I was really shocked...u just can't give it too much gas or you'll blow them off. lol Also I can't run on only 93 octane anymore. It's has to be a higher octane unless you go with a bigger pulley on the SC. I've got a 3.5 on there now and it's hitting 19lbs of boost with the street tune. 17lbs is about the max you can get on 93.
