Has any one had an issue with a knocking noise comming from the lower engine ?

No..not at all. Have you taken it to Ford yet to have it checked out?

I took the car today and it didn't make a sound they sugested I bring it back next week and leave it for a few days so thier one tech can play with it.
The car it self is running great just every so aften it makes a "klanking" sounds like its from the bottom end some have said it could be piston slap and wants to run a leak down test for $500.00

Officially the book says no but I have a good dealer and they'll warranty what they can get away with

Sounds like you could have a bearing issue.

The tuner guy I deal with thinks it's a piston just by the sound but he wants to do some test to be sure but he's already seen four others with the same problem
