I just ordered a 2010 Shelby GT500 in Kona Blue with white stripes. The dealer said that he will have a Kona Blue with Silver stripes in sooner and that I can have that one.
I thought the stripes in the photos below were white but he is telling me that they are Silver in all these photos that we have all seen.
What do you guys think? If they are indeed Sliver I'll take it.
I believe they are white. Also good choice once I pay off my Sixer Iam going to get either an 07 vista blue and white stripes, or 2010 kona blue with white stripes. So good color choice.
lastly At my local delarship I saw two roush 427R 2010's today bada$$ cars.
P.S. sorry for kindof hijacking your thread.

They look pretty white to me too but supposedly the sliver is a "Brilliant Silver" . I just sent the dealer a the same photo and asked him what he thought. I also asked him to send me a photo of a Kona Blue with Silver stripes. I'll post it if I get it.
Was gonna S/C the GT but figured what the heck get the 2010 I'll just make payments until I'm too old to drive.

Yeah, I was at the dealer today, too. I finally got close to a 2010. I don't know why people say they don't like the rear, I think it looks pretty sharp. Overall, the difference on the outside of the car are mostly superficial, but definitely noticeable. It is the interior of the car that I find to be the biggest change, and it is f'n beautiful.

I haven't even seen a 2010 in person yet. I'm in Afghanistan and won't be home until 1 June. I'm hoping to have some new wheels waiting for me.
I'll admit the rear does taking some getting used too, but it does grow on you. Look at the "over bite" from the side on the GT500, that's get ya liking it.
There are only three choices for stripe colors on the 2010 GT500:
white, silver, and bright red. Every single picture of 2010 kona blue GT500s (including those pictures in this thread) have been with the white stripes. I do not think silver stripes would look quite as good with kona blue. Not saying kona blue with silver would be bad, but white stripes "pop" more on kona blue and definitely look better.
They limit stripe color choices to just those three because, new for 2010, the GT500 gets a pair of racing stripes down the center of each seatback (fronts and rears) that is color-matched to the exterior stripes. The only interior color choice is the charcoal black, so a kona blue car with white stripes will have black leather seats with white racing stripes on each seat. The oddest color combination available on the 2010 GT500 is grabber blue paint with bright red stripes. That combination would sure make it easy for the car to stand out in a crowd. I have attached a picture of a grabber blue 2010 GT500 vert. Notice the red racing stripes on the seatbacks match the red stripes on the grabber blue exterior.

Great answer and thanks for the info. That is what I needed, someone to tell me for sure that those are white stripes, now I can get that dealer that doesn't know his product back on track.
I think I will tell him that I will pass on the Silver and take the White. Man does it pop.
Gary is right. He knows more about Stangs than anyone I've ever met or talked to online. I have only seen the White on Kona Blue. I think the RIGHT Silver would look great though.
You will absolutely love the power in the GT500... I traded my '06 GT for a '09 GT500. Blue with white strips... Every time you "get on it" you will be smiling... Good choice on a beautiful car... Congrats.
