I attended the Pinks All Out race in Bakersfield last weekend. A Chevy aftermarket company had on display modified versions of the 69 and 2010 Camaros. I'm not sure why the ET was so poor on the 2010-it ran 14.40 but at 107 mph vs. 12.60 for the 69. What was more interesting was the appearance. The 2010 looks like a caracature of the 69-similar lines but bloated and exagerrated whereas the 69, especially with the modern wheels. brakes, and drivetrain looks lean and functional.

1) The announcer didn't seem to mind pairing up a race with a Chevy with aprox. 100 hp more agains the -100 hp Mustang. (It didn't seem unfair hp wise. Just $ wise)
2) YES, you get what you pay for !!!!!! "WE" the public are paying for the Camaro lovers cars to run up and down the streets.
3) The start of the race kinda scared me !!!
4) This is one more reason for FORD to put a larger engine in the Mustang !!!!!!
